4 year old boy shoots 6 year old

Read on Inquirer today a news about a 4 year old boy shooting a 6 year old in the head in New York. Guns lying around easy to grab and shoot on pretend play. They should be locked away somewhere away from the children. What is the world coming to?

Trick or Treat with Cocaine

A man in United Kingdom gave cocaine to trick or treaters by mistake. So lo and behold, when the kids got home they got bags of cocaine instead of your usual toothache inducing treats. Funnily, the dad of the kids was a policeman so the guy who gave the drugs got in a bit of police trouble. Talk about careless huh.

Robredo Found

Never a fan of the political world, it’s sad to know that there are still good guys out there. The people from Naga and the whole nation is mourning the loss of DILG Secretary Jesse Robredo.

The 54-year-old Robredo was appointed by President Aquino as secretary of the Department of Interior and Local Government on July 9, 2010.

He was supposed to attend a meeting for his confirmation as DILG chief with the Commission on Appointments on August 29.

Robredo finished his undergraduate at the De La Salle University with a degree on Industrial Management Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

He finished his Masters in Business Administration at the University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman before taking up Public Administration at John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Robredo was elected mayor of Naga City in 1988 at the age of 29. When he took office, Naga was a poor third-class city with low revenues and a stagnant economy.

Robredo partnered with private businesses to revitalize the city’s economy and re-organized Naga’s transportation systems. By 1990, Naga had become a first-class city and Robredo was re-elected.

Robredo was a recipient of the Ramon Magsaysay Award for Government Service in 2000, Asia’s equivalent of the Nobel Prize. Robredo was cited by the board of trustees as “giving credence to the promise of democracy by demonstrating that effective city management is compatible with yielding power to the people.”

A confused weather

Sometimes I just want to curl up under the blankets due to the chilly weather or just wear under armour compression shorts due to the heat. I guess this is a sign of global warming. All those years we didn’t care about what happened to the environment is coming back to bite us big time. Now we think of doing something about the trash problem when it’s now at it’s worst stage. Talk about too late.

Lindsay Lohan

I always liked Lindsay Lohan as that cute little girl with Freckles. It’s so sad that a pretty girl like that ended up doing too much partying, relationship troubles, drugs and shoplifting. Now she poses for Playboy Magazine and got paid almost a Million Dollars as Marilyn Monroe. She is a sexy actress she does not need to crazy exercises like me to lose weight. It’s  a lot of money but I guess if she just went the right path. She would have become a star known for acting in those romance comedy movies till she gets more mature. Sad how those who got almost everything ruin their lives not thinking of the consequences of their actions. I do wish she can bounce back like Britney Spears.

The Mo Twister Video

i know you all have so many questions about what happened. i cant give any clear answers right now because I too am wondering how it all got here. I know i sold many of my things including computers that i had erased. apparently, someone “repaired” the erased files/hard drive and uploaded some personal files of mine. i feel terrible about it. i was supposed to leave for new york tomorrow but i’ll stay until Monday, or later, in order to help clear or answer some of the questions, as well as investigate how someone may have retrieved my erased files. one thing is clear, i loved rhian very much and what we went through traumatized me, as other recent incidents have. ive been getting professional help to cope with the loss but i have now decided to try to heal outside of the philippines instead. im not sure how long that will be. in the meantime, please be patient with us. i’ll stay as long as i can to help clear things. I appeal to whoever is in possession of my personal files to refrain from uploading anything further. i have spoken to my immediate supervisors and upon their advice, i will explain all of this on sunday on paparazzi, as it is the only venue i have that has a sizable reach to many of you. im sorry again.

Taken from DJ Mo’s Tweetdeck

I felt sad watching the video where Mo Twister cried for the loss of his child with Rhian Ramos. As a mom I felt for them both.  GMA network will reportedly sue the host due to some statements made on the said video.
