Globe vs Smart

You be the judge. We are not saying we don’t have problems but at least we are doing something about it and NOT focusing on bashing neighbors with garbage that they themselves have. Anonymous

Ever wonder how much millions of pesos are being thrown by Smart Communications these days on radio, TV, in print and even social media just to harp on the alleged network problems of its main competitor? To me, that sounds like a desperate move from a supposed market leader feeling the market share loss from a smaller, challenger brand. quoted from Isah Red of Manila Standard Today.com

What we just need are TELCO companies who face their problems and  do a major revamp, improvement on their structures and that is what Globe is currently doing. Globe is building this new network and replacing its aging IT systems. In the coming weeks and months leading into the 1st Quarter of 2013, they will complete the most important phase of  network build, the replacement of the old and tired equipment current serving their subscribers. Once this is done, customer experience will vastly improve it has in areas like Cebu, Davao and now Quezon City

Now you tell me, Which is the better network? Globe or Smart?

Spiral Staircase cure

Spiral staircases they say bring bad luck in terms of finance and mostly health. Some say you can put animal statues here at the bottom of the stairs preferably dogs to keep out the bad chi from flowing up. Mostly plants were mentioned too to be a good cure. Never keep the space below the stairs overflowing with junk especially if its the center of the house.

Twister Pregnancy

I remember my addiction to Twister fries when I was pregnant. No matter what I’m feeling, whether I was tired or having trouble with my legs and wearing pregnancy compression stockings , I crave and crave for it like crazy.

It’s good that Twister fries laid off a bit on salt. I remembered too salty for my taste now its better.

In fact I’ m going to get one now.

Robredo Found

Never a fan of the political world, it’s sad to know that there are still good guys out there. The people from Naga and the whole nation is mourning the loss of DILG Secretary Jesse Robredo.

The 54-year-old Robredo was appointed by President Aquino as secretary of the Department of Interior and Local Government on July 9, 2010.

He was supposed to attend a meeting for his confirmation as DILG chief with the Commission on Appointments on August 29.

Robredo finished his undergraduate at the De La Salle University with a degree on Industrial Management Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

He finished his Masters in Business Administration at the University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman before taking up Public Administration at John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Robredo was elected mayor of Naga City in 1988 at the age of 29. When he took office, Naga was a poor third-class city with low revenues and a stagnant economy.

Robredo partnered with private businesses to revitalize the city’s economy and re-organized Naga’s transportation systems. By 1990, Naga had become a first-class city and Robredo was re-elected.

Robredo was a recipient of the Ramon Magsaysay Award for Government Service in 2000, Asia’s equivalent of the Nobel Prize. Robredo was cited by the board of trustees as “giving credence to the promise of democracy by demonstrating that effective city management is compatible with yielding power to the people.”

A confused weather

Sometimes I just want to curl up under the blankets due to the chilly weather or just wear under armour compression shorts due to the heat. I guess this is a sign of global warming. All those years we didn’t care about what happened to the environment is coming back to bite us big time. Now we think of doing something about the trash problem when it’s now at it’s worst stage. Talk about too late.

Human Nature

Bought a Human Nature Citronella bug spray again, it’s been a while but due to being in the hospital for more than a week. I missed the delivery. Human Nature however will resend the item without any charges. That’s so cool. Hate the DEET so gotta stick with the Citronella smell.

A Dream may not come true

Up and down.

Committed or not.

Hubby says I should give up my dream of looking as slim as Taylor Swift.

Ha ha ha.

For that I can give him points but I don’t want to give up or maybe I will.

Fender super champ

Ever wondered what a Mexican made guitar sounds like? Purchasing a fender super champ x2 guitar center can make that ordinary sound turn into numerous watts of amplified music. It’s hardly going to bore you because if you like tweaking then you can enjoy different effects that would go with your rhythm. It’s not difficult to do so too, it would feel like such an exhilarating musical experience.

A Diet Vacation

I now resemble a Panda and could pass as an SUV with an suv bike rack. You should never have vacation diets because you feel depressed in the end. So when you’re depressed you get a gallon of ice cream and wallow in misery. So the next morning you step on the weighing scale and see those numbers.

You jump down again, open the fridge and grab that bag of Kisses. Yes! There is no hope lol.
